Indulge in homemade treats crafted by the talented scouts of BSA Troop 7071 and support their Troop's future adventures and community service projects. From cookies to cakes, brownies to bread, there's something for everyone to satisfy their sweet tooth. Your generous support helps us develop leadership skills, fund camping trips, and give back to our community. Suggested Planning steps:

1) Planning:

  • Set a date, time, and location for the bake sale.
  • Determine the purpose of the bake sale (What you’ll tell Customers
  • Recruit volunteers to help with baking, setup, sales, and cleanup.

2) Baking:

  • Decide on a variety of baked goods to offer (e.g., cookies, brownies, cupcakes).
  • Label baked goods with names, ingredients, prices, Troop Sticker

3) Supplies:

  • Gather tables, chairs, tablecloths, signage, and cash boxes for the bake sale.
  • Bring packaging materials (e.g., bags, boxes) for customers to take their purchases home.

4) Promotion:

  • Advertise the sale through social media, flyers, posters, and word-of-mouth.
  • Highlight special items or deals to attract customers.
  • Consider partnering with local businesses or community organizations to increase visibility (Walmart)

5) Setup:

  • Arrive early to set up
  • Ensure volunteers are ready to assist customers and handle transactions.

6) Sales:

  • Greet customers and provide information about the bake sale and its purpose.
  • Recommendations for popular items.
  • Keep track of the display – it always looks nice.

7) Cleanup:

  • Decide what to do with leftover baked goods
  • Break down tables and clean up the sales area. (Leave no Trace)
  • Thank volunteers for their help and support.

8) Follow-Up:

  • Collect proceeds from the bake sale and record financial transactions.
